Nothing earth-shattering, but a lot of “fix this before Monday” material.
Microsoft (Intune / Windows 365)
- August 2026 Patch Tuesday shipped 398 CVEs, including one actively exploited Windows flaw. Microsoft patched CVE-2026-68820, a Winsock elevation-of-privilege bug being exploited in the wild, plus two publicly disclosed issues (User Profile Service, Container Isolation Driver) affecting everything from Server 2012 through Windows 11 and Server 2025. Omnissa (Horizon / Workspace ONE)
- Horizon Agents Installer 26.1.0 fixes a connection-blocking deadlock. The update resolves a deadlock in the Horizon Windows agent that was preventing end users from connecting to their virtual desktops — bundles updated Horizon Agent (8.18.0), DEM Agent (10.19.0.2389), and App Volumes Agent (4.21.0.5081).
- Workspace ONE Content Gateway Container 2606 adds custom trust certificate uploads. Admins can now upload a trust certificate directly from the DUX console to connect to external systems, alongside general security fixes; requires UEM Console 2410+.
ControlUp
- Workflows now support org-wide templates and flexible scheduling. Existing flows can be imported as reusable organization templates, and new recurring/one-time scheduling options landed alongside Entra ID field selection and template search improvements.
Ivanti
- August security update patches Neurons for MDM and Endpoint Manager. Ivanti disclosed and patched vulnerabilities across both products as part of its regular monthly cycle.
IGEL
- IGEL announced its Now & Next Workspace & Endpoint Security Summit for Melbourne on September 17. The Australia/NZ event follows IGEL’s five-city European roadshow earlier this year and will feature CEO Klaus Oestermann and CTO Matthias Haas on Adaptive Secure Desktop strategy, plus sessions on endpoint resilience and healthcare/IT-OT convergence.
